Welcome to the home of cricket in Milton Keynes!
Milton Keynes Cricket Club is committed to the development and future of youth cricket in the area and caters for colts from age 8 and upwards. We are expanding our colts section and are looking to recruit enthusiastic junior players. If you are interested, please contact Bernie Berry (See the contacts section).
The club has a history of bringing colts members through the league sides to further develop their skills. The Sunday team is an ideal platform for giving the youngsters exposure to the real game of cricket.
A message from Bernie Berry:
"Dear Parents.
A new season will soon be upon us and we want to encourage as many children between the ages of 8 – 12 as possible to become involved with Milton Keynes Cricket Club. After a couple of years concentrating on the basic skills of the game we have a core of talented and enthusiastic young players and we want to take the Colts up to the next level, but to do so we need parents to get involved. We need a parent who has the time and commitment to take on the overall “management” of the Colts and to act as point of contact for parents. We need parents to get involved and help the coaches in the training sessions and to be prepared to take their children to matches.
We will give all our support and will pay for parents to go on E.C.B. coaching courses to help with their understanding of coaching cricket.
This is how I got involved in the club when my son was a keen young cricketer and it’s given me great satisfaction to watch him and his friends development and see them cement their places in the adult teams. But it is now time for me to pass on the baton to the next generation of parents. So please get in touch if you can help. You can contact me on email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or at the A.G.M.
The club A.G.M.is in the next couple of weeks so keep an eye on the club website for details. It would be great to see you there as the more people involved with the club the more fun it is.
